2025: a year of realizations

Clearly, I didn’t write a lot this year. I was busy simping after three gorgeous Korean demon-hunting girls, dressing up for films and TV premieres, and making TikTok edits. Nothing to worry about, I still have much to take from this past year.

K-Pop Demon Hunters, my recent hyperfixation or special interest to date

This year, I hit 18 months working as a delivery driver for Amazon. This is by far, the longest I’ve held a job. It’s intense, tiring work, but I’ve learned it’s important to give my body the ample amount of rest time in between days. With that in mind, I’ve managed to alter my schedule to accommodate rest throughout the week instead of working back-to-back.

For peak season, I worked an early 7:00am to 5:00pm shift, so I had to pack some quick bites for the road.

This year, I withdrew from school again due to financial constraints. For the last two years, I saw college as the only option to building or reshaping my future. At the same time, my interests are changing. I’m still a creative at heart, however, I want to travel and learn new languages and cultures. Let alone, my love for K-Pop Demon Hunters inspired an interest in learning Asian cultures and languages. I figured if school isn’t in the cards for me, preparing for future international ventures can be my “next big thing”.

As for being an artist, I didn’t paint nor draw a lot of new pieces this year. However, I did design my Tanuvasa Family Camp t-shirt. I got to use my talent in creating something to unify my family. I’ve also realized that creativity and artistic expression isn’t and should never be forced, but inspired. Thus, it’s okay for me to have my creative droughts. Procreate, my paper and pencils will always be there and ready for me to express newfound ideas.

I didn’t get to travel nor go to school this year. But I got to figure myself out. So, although this year wasn’t filled with too many life-changing moments, celebrating these small wins and changes in interests, made it worthwhile and preparatory to what I hope to achieve in 2026.

✌🏽out 2025.
